⚫︎ 内山和紙 / Uchiyama Washi
江戸時代の前期、製造したのが始まりといわれ，主に障子や灯籠に使われ、とても丈夫な和紙です。「寒の雪晒し」と言って、水の純度が高くなる極寒の真冬に漉き、雪の上で晒すことで純白したものは最高級品とされています。
Uchiyama Washi is said to have originated in the first half of the Edo period, and is mainly used for shoji screens and lanterns, and is a very durable washi paper. It is called "cold snow exposure", and it is said that pure white products are made in the middle of winter, when the purity of the water is high and are exposed to the snow.
